The 2026 SNAP! Photography Cohorts’ Capstone Presentation celebrates the culmination of The Amistad Center’s SNAP! Photography program is a paid summer residency that empowers high school and college-age students to develop artistic, technical, and professional skills through photography. During this capstone event, participants will present their completed projects, share reflections on their creative journeys, and discuss the themes and stories explored through their work. Family members, community supporters, artists, and educators are invited to join a reception honoring the accomplishments of the cohort and recognizing the next generation of visual storytellers. The event highlights youth creativity, self-expression, mentorship, and community engagement while providing students with valuable public speaking and exhibition experience.
