DESCRIPTION:The Amistad Center’s Education Administrator\, Monica Mills\, presents Math in the Museum. The program uses art displayed at The Wadsworth to explore mathematical concepts found within the Wadsworth and Amistad collections. Open to all\, Math in the Museum consists of tours and projects that enhance understanding and appreciation of art and the intersection of math and art. Monica Mills\, a mathematician\, former math teacher\, and art enthusiast\, holds a graduate degree in Urban Education from Temple University.
