DESCRIPTION:The Amistad Center\, Wadsworth Atheneum\, and Brother Carl Hardrick Institute present an evening with renowned artist and filmmaker Titus Kaphar\, featuring his critically acclaimed film\, Exhibiting Forgiveness. \nThe program is made possible by the generous support of the Joseph and Robert Cornell Memorial Foundation Fund at the Wadsworth Atheneum\, Hartford Foundation Black Giving Circle Fund\, and Brother Carl Hardrick Institute for Violence Prevention and Community Engagement\, through Amistad Center’s I Am A Man initiative centers the mental health and well-being of Black men and boys through community\, creativity\, and culturally grounded care. \nI Am A Man: Black Men and Boys’ Mental Health Initiative \nThe I Am A Man initiative centers the mental health and well-being of Black men and boys through community\, creativity\, and culturally grounded care.
